Yoga 12 is a free community class that is an integration of a 12 Steps Recovery meeting with the grounded practice of yoga. Please join me on October 16th at Bee Mindful Yoga & Meditation Space in Marmora to introduce a practical way to deepen your recovery from addiction of all kinds!

Come ready to move your body with some yoga, tune into your breath, focus your mind with meditation and connect with others from other 12-step recovery programs.
what's in store for this upcoming integrated meeting?
We will learn more about yoga through the subtle energy system of the chakras in our body and see how its (mis)alignment has affected our lives. We will be reviewing Steps Five, Six, & Seven as well as see how the fourth chakra relates to these steps, as well as where we are at in our recovery today.
Step Five, Six, & Seven of the 12-Step Program dealing with openness, honesty, and readiness.
Meditation on the breath and senses to cultivate presence
A brief introduction to yoga and what the chakras are
The Heart chakra, the fourth of the 7 Chakras
Gentle Hatha yoga to focus on balancing the heart chakra and embodying the fifth, sixth, and seventh steps
After the yoga practice, the floor will be open for sharing on recovery, yoga, the topic of the evening, or just where you’re at in your recovery journey
This event is open to all persons in recovery. Space is limited so make sure to RSVP.
Be sure to bring a yoga mat, comfy clothes for active movement, and water.
